IW108 is designed to remove ink while helping protect screen mesh from deep image staining and ghosting. By thoroughly breaking down ink residue before reclamation, it helps make subsequent stencil removal and complete screen reclaiming easier and more efficient.
In addition to its screen-washing capabilities, IW108 is an effective plastisol ink haze and ghost-image remover. The formula aggressively attacks image stains remaining in the mesh, making it useful for screens that require additional cleaning before being returned to production.
IW108 offers excellent flexibility in how it can be incorporated into a screen room. It is suitable for recirculation machines, dip tanks, immersion cleaning processes, and automatic screen reclaiming equipment. For manual cleaning, it can be applied using a scrub pad, spray bottle, or pneumatic pump system.
The low-odor, high-solvency formulation offers a high load capacity to help reduce chemical usage. IW108 also features a high flash point, is non-flammable, and is designed to be safe for screen mesh when used as directed.

- Remove as much excess ink from the screen as possible before beginning the reclaiming process.
- Apply IW108 to the screen mesh and scrub both sides using a non-abrasive pad or brush until the remaining ink has liquefied.
- High-pressure rinse the screen thoroughly to remove loosened ink and cleaner residue.
- When pressure washing, work from the bottom toward the top to help prevent loosened ink from redepositing or locking back into the mesh.
- For stubborn plastisol haze or ghost images, thoroughly work IW108 into the affected mesh before rinsing.
- IW108 can be incorporated into manual, recirculating, dip-tank, immersion, or compatible automatic reclaiming processes.
